MOTOX-G Geared MotorsMOTOX-G geared motors are part of the MOTOX modular design system which comprises helical, helical-bevel, helical parallel shaft and worm gear units or mechanical variable speed drives. With three or single phase AC motors with or without brake, all drive combinations including variable speed drives are possible.
MOTOX-G geared motors are employed for low-speed machine applications. They are used where the required output speed cannot be obtained economically by conventional motors.

MOTOX-G geared motors are employed for low-speed machine applications. They are used where the required output speed cannot be obtained economically by conventional motors.
Advantages:
• a considerable torque increase of up to 80,000 Nm;
• environmentally more tolerable due to reduction of the noise level;
• high extension and insertion variability due to the straight ined, modern housing design which is optimised by means of CAD;
• no cost for the customers for re-design due to the retention of the present connection measurements for each frame size;
• cost advantages due to the extention of the ratio ranges;
• increased service safety due to minimising of the sealing faces, use of most modern sealing materials and a totally new output shaft sealing arrangement.
Design Variations:
Refer the possible installation from the chapter mounting positions of the respective gear units types.
The gear boxes are manufactured as solid shaft gear boxes or as hollow shaft gear boxes with fitted key, shrink disc or splined shaft connections.
Hollow shafts, which do not belong to preferred list of MOTOX-G series, are made up of a higher strength material, like C60N or with higher strength.
